Background on the
Woodstock Institute for Negotiation
The Woodstock Institute for Negotiation was
established in 1989 by Robert J. ODonnell as an
educational and training institute to promote the
teaching and development of
- Negotiation and collaboration theories and skills
for the positive and efficient management and
resolution of conflicts at all levels and in all
contexts, and
- Collaborative leadership and management theory
and skills for empowered and productive employees
and teams in the Total Quality Management
environment, all through the use of the
Collaborative WIN Process and the positive use of
Power.
WIN is dedicated to offering people the means to
manage and resolve their own internal conflicts and their
conflicts and disputes with other individuals privately,
efficiently and fairly and the means to lead and manage
more efficiently and effectively, while at the same time
building trust and improving relationships with all
people with whom they interact.
WIN is located on the Pomfret Stage Road in Woodstock,
Vermont and serves clients all over the United States and
the world, having served clients in 25 states and in 10 countries.
